meet up with carven, yanling, and jillian yesterday at swensens.

just went for one with lc yesterday.

adidas and robinson sales at expo.

really lots of people.

nothing nice to buy at adidas.

at least there's something for us at the robinson.

brought one pair of slippers.

dad came to fetch me home.

we went to expo with celest and her bf instead.

indeed, we brought quite alot of stuff.

subscribed a year supply of i-weekly.

got a fondue set and steam cooker.

had my lunch at 3pm.

with a surprise birthday celebration for carven.

there were xueyin, valen, fang ting, lyin, carven, jiahao, weijie, and me.

as the rest could not make it, we just go ahead with the meet-up.

jiahao also bring along his friend, lyin.

kind of cheerful girl.

but she doesn't look like those girls of her age.

meaning she looks much younger.

lots of catching up to do.

it's hard to organise a gathering when everyone started working.

hi guys, im back.

attended wai gong's funeral this early morning.

had breakfast with both sis and gugus at the nearby coffeeshop.

feeling alittle heartache upon reaching the wake.

don't know why.

prayer started.

while holding onto the joss stick, i feel like weeping silently.

it's like once a healthy person, how can he passed on so suddenly?

no one was beside him before his last breath.

but, he passed away peacefully.

a relieve from all pain.

last prayer conducted before the body was cremented.

went to viewing room to see him off the last time.

it was then tears started to form.

and i weeped silently.

thinking about how he used to dote on all of us when we're young.

and celebrated my 1st birthday with him.

i will always remember his smile, although there wasn't many teeth left.

and his skinny built.

he used to live at lim chu kang area.

where we used to play with rhino beetles.

both my cousins, siblings, and i used to hang out at the nearby playground.

he even took us to the durian plantation, to collect durians that has drop down from the trees.

those were the days.

as we grew up, the only time we manage to visit him is during chinese new yr.

however, my parents will pay him a visit sometimes without the kids.

feeling regret.

if we could just spend more time with him.

my mum and aunts will be going down tmr, to collect his ashes.

went back to the apartment to get changed.

lunch at boon lay raja restaurant with aunts, uncles, and cousins.

adults at one table, and the young grown-ups at the other.

kinda awkward, nothing to talk about.

after the last course, we bid each other goodbye.

it will be a different chinese new yr celebration next yr.

i wonder....
